The R80 Basic was a legendary model produced by BMW only in 1997. It was the ultimate model with air cooled engine and sold only in white with a blue frame. Forward to 2021 and Renard brought this legend back to life with all the old specific details and new modern comfort. Like the old original BMW, our R80 Renard Basic also has distinctly high fenders, a smaller tank and the seat from the old ST.
