from Stevenson Overall, the Monterey 110 utilises the single needle flat felled seam construction that Stevenson have become renowned for. Details include the arced pockets, curved line designs and slanted ‘v’ belt loops. The silhouette is a slim taper providing the wearer with a slim fit throughout the thigh area and a taper downwards from the knee. This particular model has been put through a one wash so as to remove shrinkage.
The brand originally existed in Portland, Indiana in the United States in 1920's-30's. With the brand relaunch in 2005, the collection was developed from Stevenson's and Tagaya's shared deep interest vintage denim and leather goods. They aimed to redevelop the process of creating jeans with a “flat felled seam” that are constructed with the sewing methods used before the 1920's.
